Jakarta – 01 September 2021: Commvault (NASDAQ: CVLT), a recognized global enterprise leader in Intelligent Data Services across on-premises, cloud, and SaaS environments, today announced an expanded working relationship with global distribution leader Ingram Micro.
Under a new master regional distributor agreement Ingram Micro is appointed as a non-exclusive Distributor authorized to market, sell and support Commvault products and software services within Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Singapore.
With immediate effect, customers, resellers, and managed service providers doing business with Ingram Micro in Indonesia can now enjoy additional access to Commvault’s intelligent data services to store, protect, optimize, and use their data, regardless of where they reside.
Distribution partners play a significant role in Commvault’s strategic move to strengthen its partner ecosystem and expand its customer base with Commvault’s industry-leading portfolio, including growing the backup-as-a-service (BaaS) Metallic offering in Australia and New Zealand, and will soon be launched into new markets across Asia.
This regional distributor agreement enables Ingram Micro’s network of resellers and managed service providers to offer Commvault’s growing BaaS-based solutions across various simple, flexible, and scalable consumption models. At the same time, Commvault will leverage Ingram Micro’s regional presence to expand and land new customers and unlock the huge market opportunity across Asia.
Ingram Micro will provide a one-stop partner enablement, end-to-end fulfilment with strong sales and pre-sales bench strength to complement Commvault’s existing partner ecosystem and together, expand its market reach and coverage in Indonesia.
